Description

- Built in 1984 (originally as a 17 degree slant c/w slabber head) - SN 4264-76V - Double Column High Air Strain Design - RH installation (Bandmill on the left and Carriage on the right looking in the direction of flow) - 12" Extended column (minimum 11' - 4" and Maximum of 12' - 4" Wheel centers) - Nominal saw length approximately 45' - 7" - Moving top saw guide (20" minimum to 42-1/2" maximum from top of bunk) - Motorized top wheel lift c/w manual tilt wheel - Air strain diaphragm cylinders c/w air tank and guage - Dead top and bottom arbor assemblies c/w heavy duty double row spherical roller bearings - Top wheel rim thickness is 15/16" and bottom wheel rim thickness is 3/4" with a 12-1/4" face width - Belt drive assembly c/w jack shaft assembly, disc brake and drive base - 300 HP @ 1200 RPM 460V/3PH/60 HZ arbor motor - Off bearings roll c/w hydraulic motor (designed for 17 degree slant arrangement) - No top wheel guard - No Slabber head - No controls - No Auto lube system - No Hydraulic power unit The machine has been dismantled and the main frames have been sand blasted and prime painted as per attached photos. The machine will be reassembled reusing original components if within OEM specifications, otherwisewill be reconditioned and/or replaced with parts from USNR as needed. The following components will be inspected, checked and machined as required prior to assembly: - All bores and spigots (sleeved if required) - All parts to be reused will be magnetic particle tested by an outside engineering company. (ie: wheels, sheaves, rocker arms, torque tubes, etc.) - Recommend reducing the wheel face width to increase wheel life (width to suit customer specified saw width) - Re-machine with customer specified crown and dynamically balance the wheels - Re-machine the driven sheave - Wheel lift Conversion to keyless drive sprocket and wheel lift lock between wheel lift and tilt - Supply and install new wheel lift bearings and chain - Existing strain assemblies will be rebuild - Pressure test diaphragm and air tank - Rebuild top saw guide assembly - Electric motor in as in condition - Machine will be repainted and disassembled as needed for shipment
