Chip-N-Saw Canter Quad System

- Double length infeed equipment was manufactured by Optimil in 1994 - Log turner assembly - Double length half taper infeed. 53' long from turner rolls to bottom head - Machine capacity 4" minimum to 20" maximum log diameter. 8' to 24' on length - All drive motors and reducers - Four (4) sided Mark II Chip-N-Saw style chip heads c/w positioners and drive motors - Multi-spline cutter and removal system manufactured by Optimil in 1995 - Filer & Stowell 6' quad bandsaw assembly c/w linear positioners and 150 HP drive motors - Separator outfeed and holddown assembly system, approximately 75' long. Includes sweeps for cant kick out to large double arbor edger (edger not included). 4" to 8" center cants go straight into 8" vertical double arbor gang (gang not included). - Hydraulics power units to power all positioning cylinders - Kita log optimizing system c/w all electronics, scanners and software - Allen Bradley PLC5 system for all machine control including positioning - Variable speed drives to control all feedspeeds of rolls and chains - MCC for control of most of, if not all, the equipment above
